the set: a continuous 4,226 ft descent from the north end of the Logging Road at 330 ft down the whole western side of the property to the river bottom at 143 ft, holding 4.4% average with a 12.5% maximum and only 3% of its length steeper than 10%. It crosses the gentle Cecil upland, then benches down the Louisa bluff to the floodplain, and gives the property its first graded top-to-bottom route - a sustainable alternative to the existing red trail, which averages 11.5% with a third of its length steeper than 15%. PROPOSED — South Drainage Bench 1,415 ft · avg 6.8% grade, max 14% A bench along the drainage in the south-west quarter, linking the south end of the Logging Road to the 'new loop map' line above the floodplain. It picks up the steep Louisa ground that no current trail contours, and closes the southern half of the west loop. PROPOSED — Cecil Ridge Way 2,540 ft · avg 2.4% grade, max 10.7% The accessible-grade backbone the property does not currently have: 2,540 ft at 2.4% average and 10% maximum, running the middle ridge from the Logging Road east to the main east-west trail near the farm. Nothing this gentle exists anywhere in the present network. Suitable for a mown two-track, a wheelchair-usable surface, or hauling gear to the farm. PROPOSED — North Field Rim 927 ft · avg 2.7% grade, max 6.7% A short, very gentle rim trail across the north field between the head of the Logging Road and the 'new loop map' - 927 ft at 2.8% average and 8% maximum, with the best separation from existing trails in the set after the pond link (172 ft median). It opens the northern block, which the current network only skirts. PROPOSED — Creek North Bench 1,402 ft · avg 5.1% grade, max 13.1% A bench along the north side of the main creek valley connecting the 'new loop map' line near Stand 2 to the west end of sunshine trail, closing the biggest remaining gap in the mid-property loop system and passing the parking and event centre. Stays out of the riparian corridor throughout. PROPOSED — South Slope to Pond 3,217 ft · avg 4.7% grade, max 14.3% The signature route: 3,217 ft of side-hill bench climbing 146 ft from the mid-property creek crossing east to the pond, finishing within 90 ft of the 'pond overlook, picnic table' waypoint and the Bridge mat. It runs between the sunshine trail and the south boundary on ground nothing else reaches, and reaches three named destinations in one line.
